A Step Above Specialized Learning Services (SLS) is ready to begin the search for qualified educators to provide tutoring services either virtually or in-home. Even if you are not a credentialed education specialist, I believe in supporting and building a future generation of skilled and compassionate special needs service providers, who will work hard to support our learners make progress towards their academic or functional life skills goals. Part-time opportunities available.  Competitive pay is determined by experience and session-type/length.

At A Step Above SLS, I believe learning should be fun, engaging, and supportive and I am looking for teachers who share that vision! This is a family-centered business, and we value building positive and supportive relationships to not only support our students, but families.

My goal is to maintain consistency for families and my learners.  While I understand things come up in life, please know that this is not considered a "summer job".  Families who seek services typically want services long-term or until services are no longer necessary.  The frequency of sessions both in-person and virtually could vary from 30 minutes (virtual) twice a week all the way to 10 hours/week (in-person). Families come with a variety of needs, and your availability and experience will be signficantly considered, as I consider tutor assignments.
